The Roomba 694 brings a three stage cleaning system into your home - it loosens, lifts, and suctions dirt away from carpeting, area rugs, and non-carpeted surfaces. Adaptive navigation uses advanced sensors allowing for cleaning under and around furniture and prevents falling down stairs or ledges. For cleaning along edges and into corners the edge cleaning brush sweeps debris into the path of the counter rotating brushes. Wi-Fi connectivity allows the Roomba 694 to be controlled with the iRobot Home App that is available for Android and iOS devices.
In the app a schedule can be created that can trigger a cleaning cycle up to 7 times a week. Also available is voice activated controls when connected to an Amazon Alexa or Google Home Assistance device. The iRobot 694 learns the cleaning habits of your home and then begins to offer custom cleaning recommendations. Based upon local pollen count and shedding season for pets additional cleaning suggestions will be made in the iRobot Home App. While cleaning if the Roomba 694 detects heavily soiled areas extra cleaning time will be spent in the area. As always, a cleaning cycle can also be triggered offline with a simple push the centre button. After 90 minutes of cleaning, or after the cleaning schedule, the Roomba will return itself to the Home Base charging dock.
