Yes, we have tried many cleaners on our new cooktop. Being used to old-fashioned spiral burners, we were shocked at the fragility of the new-fangled flat cooktops: they are quite sensitive to food messes - who would have thunk! So, we have found through trial and error, that this is, by far, the most effective product for cleaning a glass or ceramic cooktop. For stubborn spills, we simply squirt a generous dab right onto the problem area, and leave it "soak" for a bit. Then, using a safe rubber or plastic (not metal or abrasive! ) scraper, we gently work off the gunky stuff, then wash, rinse, wipe. It's a little pricey, but so are all the other products and at least this one works!
