Miele Oven Cleaner 500ml

Sorry for the vulgar tagline, but really, this is one of the worst products I've ever purchased. It got not a single stain or bit of baked-on food off my oven. I wrote to Miele and they said I should perhaps use baking soda instead, or even the EasyOff oven cleaner that's safe for self-cleaning ovens. If Easy-Off is ok, why is Miele making this garbage?? We found the instructions to be a bit tricky to find at first, however once found, by following them to the max sit time, it did seem to yield better results than our first try. The directions are as follows - "Remove all components from the oven interior. Shake well before use. Spray Miele Over Cleaner on cold oven surface and allow max 1 hour for cleaner to penetrate. Rinse well. Also suitable for perfect clean." Baking soda is an abrasive which can damage the Miele Perfect Clean oven surface. I found this product ineffective. There were no instructions provided on the label, and so i used the spray on a cold oven. I had read somewhere online that the cleaner could not be left for more than 15 minutes and so i wiped it off after 15 minutes. It was useless. Perhaps if there are manufacturer's "how to use" instructions (which I could not find) and if they are different than cold oven/15 minutes it might be worth trying..... When this product did not work I used baking soda and vinegar which WAS effective and i have a shiny new oven. McHardy's Response: Thank you for your feedback! Finding the instructions was a bit tricky for us as well. On the back of the bottle you will see a little grey arrow on the bottom right side of the label. This arrow allows you to 'peel' the label open revealing the directions, which are: "Remove all components from the oven interior. Shake well before use.
