The Miele Guard M1 Cat & Dog is an excellent choice for larger homes with mostly bare floors and some low-pile carpeting or area rugs. Included is the air-driven STB 305 TurboBrush, which gently agitates low to medium pile carpet fibres to remove embedded pet hair, crumbs and debris more effectively than a standard combination floor tool.

Powered by the German made Miele 1200-watt Vortex motor, the Guard M1 delivers strong suction to lift dirt and dust from hardwood, tile, laminate and other hard flooring surfaces. The included combination rug and floor tool lets you move easily between bare floors and area rugs by simply retracting or extending the brushes.

Its larg capacity vacuum bag makes it perfect for busy households, families and pet owners. A fully sealed bag compartment and Miele’s AirClean filtration system help keep captured dust securely inside the vacuum instead of allowing it to escape back into your home while cleaning.

If allergies are a concern, you can upgrade to HEPA filtration with the Miele HEPA AirClean SF-HA 50 Vacuum Filter
