For cleaning carpeting and area rugs Dyson has introduced the High Torque cleanerhead that uses dynamic load sensors to continuously monitor the resistance to the brush bar. Inside is an anti-tangle comb where 56 polycarbonate teeth help prevent hair from wrapping around the bristles. When switching to bare-floors the Laser Slim Fluffy™ cleaner head has a laser that detects the particles you can't normally see when vacuuming hardwood, luxury vinyl, tile, laminate, and bamboo. The soft fibres remove fine dust more effectively and the black carbon fibre bristles help to remove static on floors. Unlike the carpet attachment the Laser Slim Fluffy™ floor tool is open at the front allowing larger debris, like Cheerios, crumbs and pebbles, to easily enter the suction path and travel to the dirt bin. Without this, debris can be pushed around without actually being picked up.
Up to one hour of continuous runtime and since it clicks in you can charge the battery on or off the vacuum and a spare battery can be purchased to double your cleaning time. By offering three cleaning levels there is a setting for every cleaning situation. Eco mode provides the maximum battery run time for everyday use and delicate surfaces, while medium mode is for everyday cleaning needs. To make quick work on stubborn areas likes pet beds and ground in dirt switch to Boost mode for intense suction. The LCD display screen on the back of the Dyson V15 vacuums provides real-time updates and alerts. Dyson's new Hyperdymium digital motors spin up to 125,000 rpm and is designed with a triple diffuser to provide 100% more suction power than the previous V8 vacuums. Powering the motor is a fade free lithium-ion battery that provides up to 60 minutes of run time. Cleaning times will be vary depending on suction setting and attachment used.
