Braava 380t Floor Mopping Robot by iRobot
Meet Braava 380t, the floor mopping and cleaning robot from iRobot. Unlike other robot vacuum cleaners the Braava is specifically designed to clean, mop, and dust, bare floor surfaces like hardwood and tile. Two cleaning modes allow you to customize the cleaning required. When sweeping the Braava will move in straight lines and the dry mopping cloth will collect the dust and hair. In mop mode the Braava uses the damp cloth and a back and forth motion making triple passes to lift surface dirt and grime. Before engaging the mop mode simply fill the Pro-Clean reservoir with tap water and the wick will keep the damp mopping cloth wet during the cleaning cycle. Both cleaning cloths are washable and reusable.
While cleaning in either sweep or mope mode the Braava is guided by the NorthStar navigation cube. This acts as a GPS and projects a signal on the ceiling, which is picked up by the robot allowing it to know where it's been and where it needs to go. Once Braava is done cleaning it will return to where it began and power down, but will not self-dock on the base. The turbo charging cradle holds Braava on it's back, acting as both a storage and charging base.
