Filtration is most important to Miele so that the air coming out of the vacuum is cleaner than the air you breathe. This is accomplished by a Gore CleanStream Hygiene fine dust lifetime filter which separates the particles from the air coming into the vacuum along with a HEPA Lifetime filter to clean the air coming out. Both filters will never need replacing when maintained accordingly and HEPA certification by the British Allergy Foundation means that the air coming out is safe for those with allergies. To assist in proper maintenance the ComfortClean will automatically engage when the CleanStream fine dust filter needs to be cleaned.
