VacPan Central Vacuum Inlet Installation Kit
Installing a central vacuum VacPan can be tricky if you are just using PVC pipe, make the job easier with the use of the VacPan installation kit. Due to the obstacles between the main pipe line and the toe kick of cabinets a flexible hose is the best way to connect a VacPan to the remaining system. The 2" hose connects directly onto the PVC pipe by way of a clamp that is included in the kit. To connect the hose to the VacPan a low-profile 90 degree fitting in installed with a clamp, simply connect the two together by way of friction. It is never recommended to glue the VacPan to this fitting as it will stay in-place without glue, and it is easier to remove the VacPan if it needs to be replaced in the future.
