I was just what I needed and it works with the on/off switch on our existing centra vacuum. Perfect.
This product was just what I needed after I've of my central vac outlets stopped working after a renovation. Getting this extension was much cheaper than trying to figure out what was wrong and fixing it! Works with my vacuum's on/low/off switch too which is great as I gather not all models have this.
I recently purchased the 12-foot extension hose for my central vacuum. The hose is a quality product, very light in weight but durable. The extension works well, and is good quality. I am very pleased with the extension, as it saved me buying a complete longer hose, that would have wasted my existing hose and cost more money. I needed more length due to renovations that moved a wall.

Arrived exceptionally quick! I couldn't wait for this item as I was sure it would resolve my issues. Started out great but as soon as I stretched the hose it snapped right off. Definitely does not do what I had hoped. So sad,,,,

Used it once so far and it allowed us to reach an otherwise inaccessible corner. It is the ideal length and works perfectly with our existing standard length hose. I would recommend this to anyone with a regular length central vac hose which will not quite reach into those far away places.

Moved into a house with no Central vac, put one in our selves but due to a finished basement , could only put 2 inlets in. Was just shy in a few areas of the house and the extension hose gave us plenty of reach. hose is light weight but seems a little flimsy. Over all it has worked just fine and I would recommend it to any one.
Whatever the length of your base hose, there always seems a meter or so is missing in order to reach that far out room corner.
In comes the extension which saves the day !

Finally I can reach all the extreme corners of my home with this extra 12 feet of vacuum hose. The electrical low voltage connections work great, and I don't need to install another vacuum hose outlet in my home. Highly recommended
The length of this extension hose was perfect for what I needed and it works great. I gave the product 4 stars because I do find the connector to be a bit large, but it in no way affects it's performance. Excellent price and service from McHardy Vacuum.

Very nice addition to vacuum system .Have a 35 ft. hose ,but have two areas that could not be reached .Makes cleaning so much easier. quality seems pretty good .

(1) I have used this several times after the purchase. Works seamlessly in my central vacuum system (by Kenmore). Now I can reach every corner of my house.
The price was the lowest I could find in North America when I purchased it around a month ago.
