I'm so pleased with my vacuum cleaner. It really shows the difference after having used the vacuum. I also too am impressed with the vacuum bags that come with it. It is so easy to dispose of and so clean to handle the bag after it is full. An excellent product you make.
Although very expensive, these bags are well designed. You can remove them without getting any dust out.
Yes my animals (2 cats and 1 small dog) are shedding but I'm surprised at how fast the bag has filled. The only explanation I can think of (hopefully) is that the old vacuum was REALLY pathetic so this one has captured additional dirt. If that's not the case, these are expensive to replace in less than one month.
The bag's "self-closing hole" only seals when you're removing the bag - I still need to keep paper towel in the end of the nozzle to ensure ladybugs and flies remain inside (the joys of spring infestation in an old farmhouse).
McHardy's Response:
In our experience the first 1-2 bags you use in a new vacuum will fill up quicker than expected. This because what you were thinking - the new machine is picking up everything the previous one left behind. As well, with the Miele vacuums you can fill the bag quite full.
Exceptional service from McHardy - got bags in two days, not to mention that price was much better than what local Montreal stockist was charging. Will shop again soon... :)
Bought a second Miele and didn't realize it
uses different bags from my original one.
Didn't want to drive out of town to source
bags so checked online instead. I received bags within a couple of days of online purchase. Great price. Awesome experience with McHardy. Will go to them for all my future Miele needs.
Haven't used them yet, but I like the way that all of the filters needed are also included in with the bags.
Have had this equipment for a year and am absolutely thrilled with quality and performance. So easy!! so efficient!! Sorry I didn't purchase a Miele much sooner. Great product!!!

Excellent shopping experience I can absolutey recommend McHardy, they have got it all right. I bought a Miele S2 and was expecting a open box unit , but it is a refurbished by Miele unit. However I am perfectly happy with it since this is my third Miele Vacuum and their the best. Period.

I bought a Miele vacuum from McHardy last year and the service was superb.
