    I first found out about Persil laundry detergents from a friend who has a front loading washer. When I had to buy a new laundry pair I went with a front loading HE washer to save water. I tried several different HE type detergents and was not satisfied with the results of my wash. I was beginning to think that front loaders just didn't clean as well as top loaders, or that the popular washer and dryer brand I bought was flawed in some way when I remembered my friend raving about Persil and how clean it got her wash. I wasn't aware of any local suppliers; accordingly, I googled "Persil, Canada" and McHardy's popped up as a supplier who shipped so I ordered from them. The price of Persil is a tad breathtaking to start with, but I use very little in our natually soft water so it will last a long time and, I suspect, average out to be similar to grocery store brands. My laundry is once again clean, thanks to the Persil. I will be using it from now on.
    Also, I want to add that McHardy Vacuum is impressive in their customer care. These are real people, not a large corporate entity. Wish I wasn't so far away, I'd do more shopping there.

    I have been using Persil Universal and Persil Colour powdered soap for 8 years. I was unable to purchase it in Saskatchewan so was thrilled to find it at McHardy's Vacuum - and shipped to my door! It removes stains, mildew and is color protective; using 2 tablespoons of powder per load, it is less expensive than other products and less soap build-up.

    Much better than the regular detergents offered in the stores in Canada. Also Ironic that I can buy it for less and have it shipped to me in Alberta for less than getting it stores here.

    We've been using Persil laundry soap (powder) in our Whirpool Gold front loader for close to two years. This is an amazing product for North American and European front load washers. Just a little amount of soap keeps our clothes clean and fresh. At the same time, it keeps the machine clean and eliminates mildew smells and mold build-up.
