Miele S5981 Continuum S5 Canister Vacuum Cleaner
The Miele Continuum from Miele Canada offers you the SEB236 Power Brush. It is suitable for all types of carpeting but it works best at deep cleaning high pile carpets with it's 5 level height adjustment and stiff bristles remove stubborn lint and hair. This is the ideal head for cleaning homes with high traffic. For convenience, the Miele Continuum is the only Miele in Canada that has full controls located on the hose handle.
Included is the 16" Miele SBB 400-3 Extra Wide Parquet Twister bare floor brush. This floor brush provides maximum mobility for navigating around furniture yet gentle enough for hardwood. The double pivot neck allows you to twist and turn the head around table legs and chairs with a simple twist of the wrist. Along with a full tool set hidden under the lid for easy access you can be certain that dirt will not go unfound. Sealed HEPA filtration means that if you suffer from dust sensitivity due to allergies, asthma or other conditions you will have relief. The Miele sealed system ensures that no air can escape other than through the HEPA certified filter meaning that you will have true HEPA filtration. Powered by the quiet German Made Vortex motor, you now have the choice of which level of suction you desire for your cleaning application. Underneath are three bearing mounted swivel casters for ultra mobility meaning that the vacuum cleaner pulls easily around corners. This vacuum is made in Germany.

Great Vacuum

My wife loves it. Not a cheap purchase but you get what you pay for in life. The unit is easy to use, easy to manoever and is relatively light. Hardy was great to deal with. I dealt with them over the Internet only and they were very professional and easy to work with. I would recommend both the vacuum and the company to anyone

I was looking for a replacement vacuum and took a chance on purchasing it from McHardy's based on the below reviews. I was very pleased with their service including an assessment of the vacuum I required, although I had already done my research, they did recommend Miele as well as some less expensive brands. The staff has attention to detail and free delivery. Everything was as promised and delivered on time!
PLUS, I love my vacuum. It is quiet, has HEPA filtration and overall the vacuum is very well built.

I bought a Miele S5 Continuum at McHardy over the internet approximately 1 month ago and I extremely pleased with my purchase the vacuum is wonderful, it's very quiet, extremely well made with quality materials. Yes it's more expensive than any other vacuum but if you want German quality that will last you a very long time (if not lifetime) this is the one to get. No dust emissions so you won't have to vacuum every second day as the dust particles stays in the vacuum bag. I am extremely pleased with my purchase experience with McHardy vacuum, they have fast and free delivery, people I have dealt with over the phone (Mr. Graham Stuart) was very nice, polite and very helpful. This is a great Canadian family owned business and they have been around for many years and they know their products and what they are talking about. I have ordered a few extra accessories after my original purchase and when I received the accessories I noticed that they had included a Miele bag to store those accessories at no charge (this is much appreciated) also with my original purchase was a "thank-you card" for ordering from McHardy vacuums. Those people are great and they know how to treat customers right....unfortunately we see this less and less nowadays. Thank you to all at McHardy vac. keep up the good work and keep on treating your customers right. You're a great business to deal with.
