Great vacuum cleaner

We are completely satisfied with our new Miele BlueStar vacuum cleaner. It is lightweight and quiet, maneuverable, and it has great suction. It is a pleasure to use, and we have noticed that the floor seems to stay clean longer, probably because dirt does not escape from the vacuum. Dog hair is no problem for this vacuum. We considered vacuums with and without bags, and we are very happy that we went with this vacuum, since there is no mess when emptying the vacuum. We especially like the flap in the bag that keeps all the dirt inside when switching bags.
McHardy's was great to do business with. They answered all my questions over the phone, and the vacuum was delivered within a few days at no cost.

Excellent Quality

This is my second Miele vacuum cleaner. I have found everything to be the same as I expected- suction, reliability, ease of use, quality of workmanship, bags, hepa filter, etc. I know I will get many years of satisfaction with this machine. ( My first one lasted about 20 years) This machine is lighter then my old model and easier to handle - especially when I go upstairs!
Have to give a Five Thumbs Up to McHardy's. Excellent service and followup! As well, their knowledge of all of their products was refreshing! I would recommend this product and McHardy's to anyone1

Excellent Vacuum

We are very pleased with this vacuum.It has excellent suction, despite being very quiet.
The unit and accessories are all well made and of good quality. The wand telescopes to suit the user's height, and the canister rides on three casters, making it very comfortable to use; especially good for someone with back issues.
The bags are very thick and self-sealing when removed, so no dust ever escapes. In fact, the canister interior remains immaculate.
The hose swivels at the base, minimizing entanglement with the cord. The cleaning heads are well designed, and articulated so they swivel to get under and around obstacles. The power head is compact, able to get under furniture like no other vacuum I have ever owned.
Our previous vacuum was a bagless upright. We hated cleaning the filters, which seemed to be necessary every time we used it. This involved standing outside for several minutes with the dust and dirt you had vacuumed up flying in your face and onto your entire person; surely the situation you were hoping to avoid when you vacuumed in the first place.
I had come to regard vacuuming as pretty much a waste of my time, as I would end up following with the dust mop or broom to try to get what was left behind or spewed back out. Now vacuuming feels useful and actually rewarding.
McHardy's customer service has been superlative. You will not regret buying this vacuum.

Very Pleased with the purchase

I am very pleased with the purchase of the Miele BlueStar vacuum.
It is surprisingly quiet and efficient. I only run at the minimu suction setting and it is sufficient.
The most important feature of all for this vacuum is that vaccuming no longer means breathing dust. I used to avoid vacuuming with my old one in order to avoid raising and spreading dust in the air in the process.
Finally, one more important thing is the service I got from McHardy's staff. They went out of their way to accomodate my needs for invoicing and shipping.
