12" Shag and Frieze Rug and Carpet Rake - 1 1/4" Fit All Size
The carpet rake is an ideal tool for Shag, Frieze, and any medium to thick pile carpeting or area rugs. Over time carpeting with longer fiber and thread lengths will start to wear down in high traffic areas, the carpet rake is designed to help prevent carpets from being flattened. As well, with thick pile carpeting hair, dust, dirt, and debris tend to get trapped at the bottom of the carpeting. The carpet rake will loosen and bring up these unwanted items to the top of the carpet for removal by the vacuum. The suction port in this carpet rake head attaches to the wands of portable (canister or upright) vacuums, as well as central vacuums for added cleaning strength. Being able to attach the carpet rake head directly to your vacuum allows you to rake and vacuum your carpets in one step, saving you time.

Sizing:
This product fits all types of vacuum cleaners that use common fit-all attachments (1 1/4" inner diameter of attachment opening). To verify if your vacuum is this size, first determine if your extension wand or hose handle fits inside your attachments and not outside. Then, measure the inside where the wand or hose handle fits into the tool.
