The Dyson DC25 is a Dyson Ball™ that has greater maneuverability than most other upright vacuum cleaners.  The swivel motion is created by twisting and turning your wrist which allows the floor nozzle to easily steer around objects.  This full size vacuum cleaner is ideal for homes with both bare floor and carpet as you can turn the agitator on or off with the flick of a switch.  For a gentler clean on bare floor we suggest purchasing a separate bare floor brush to use on the end of the hose and wand attachment.  The easy empty dirt container allows you to empty the dirt without touching it.
